Anyone run their JK water inlet temp between 80-85*F+ (27-29*C)?

Wondering b/c the literature from Deloro says max inlet at 70*F , but Stellite told us recently that they recommend running at between 80-90*F. I have others who say they get better coatings running around 80-85*F, but do not say why. One ran hotter water to lessen particle buildup in the nozzle entrance.
The JK is new to us as the JP5000 is mainly run and the water is never allowed to get hotter than 70*F.

Why do you run hotter? Do you run all your powders at that temp or only certain ones? Just trying Amerpit 584 (CrC-NiCr).

Hi,

70*F is the maximum water temp of the open loop supply for the water to water heat exchanger. 80-90*F is the closed loop water temp going into the torch.
Running 70*F inlet to the torch would probably cause nozzle loading and possibly crack the head. It could also cause carbon build-up if you are running carbon fuel.
