JP 5000
While studying things about JP 5000 system lot of interesting information I have found but some questions also I have come across what would be the internal pressure of this gun while operating? Does any of its part need any pressure testing? if yes then what could be the method for this testing?

Opinion from all members are most welcome.

Thanks

Ravi

RE: JP 5000
Dear Ravikumar

Do not worry for internal gun pressure, of course all guns are designed for process pressure, the problem will be if you try to use the gun with gas or gas pressure out of OEM specifications, a customer of mine try to modify something, and then the JP 5000 gun body was seriously damaged (they try to use GPL instead of Propane gas), the important thing is that you must use only the gas and parameters indicated by OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), and to know something more, try to do a technological training, there are very good thermal spray specialist in this site.

Luis

Dear Ravi,

Pressure is the most important component of this equipment as it is High Pressure - HVOF machine, pressure inside the chamber is 8.3 bar but keep in mind that if you are taking this data just for your knowledge then it is ok but I suggest you to do not impliment any change in these parameters which may cause major failure as well as injury. For any further information about this gun or system please do not hesitate to ask & if you desire to get training also then do contact us via email.
