Green color with Cr3C2/Ni20Cr
Hi
Spraying Cr3C2/Ni20Cr I get green color powder around the booth and on the parts. does it mean the Cr is getting oxidized or could have some other reasons.
I am using top gun GTV with O2 and H2; 240 and 680 lit/min, respectively.
Regards

RE: Green color with Cr3C2/Ni20Cr
Hi Sal

Yes, it is common to get green coloured dusty products when spraying chromium rich powders. It is where the powder fines are oxidised producing chromium oxide.
