Friction and Wear Testing
Hello All,

This is my first post I wondered if anyone out there works or researchers in the field of Tribology. I am started researching the topic and have started using a Plint Tribology TE53 Friction and Wear Tester. This is essentially twin discs rotating or one stationary in contact and using a assess wear.

Anyone with any experience of this field, testing or using this equipment?

Many Thanks

OptiEng.

Hi OptiEng

I don't have much experience in this field. Most has been with special purpose equipment designed to simulate actual working conditions or simple "home-made" set-ups for comparative testing.
