Friction and Wear Testing
Hello All,
This is my first post I wondered if anyone out there works or researchers in the field of Tribology. I am started researching the topic and have started using a Plint Tribology TE53 Friction and Wear Tester. This is essentially twin discs rotating or one stationary in contact and using a assess wear. Anyone with any experience of this field, testing or using this equipment? Many Thanks OptiEng. |

RE: Friction and Wear Testing
Hi OptiEng
to the Surface Engineering Forum.I don't have much experience in this field. Most has been with special purpose equipment designed to simulate actual working conditions or simple "home-made" set-ups for comparative testing.
