Fluoropolymer coatings
We are looking to apply a thin low surfactant fluorpolymer coating to a thermoplastic film of 75 micron thickness. The purpose is to provide a durable water vapour barrier and hydrophobic barrier between the contents and the thermoplastic film in a new liquid packaging product. It is essential to keep water vapour and water away from the thermoplastic film in our application.

This type of technology is new to us - does anyone have any experience of applying FP coatings to thermoplastic films in a high volume environment?

Any help or direction would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Hoping someone else may be able to help here. Sorry, no experience of application to thermoplastic films.
