We have a fan blower is fabricated from AISI4140 material and not sufficiently resistant to the combination of abrasion, find particle erosion and corrosion that they are explosed to during service. Material loss from wear and corrosion is severe. However, this job have been done by TAFA 95MXC/ARC Spray before. Anyone know any materials/process to use longer than 95MXC ? Thank you.

Not knowing operating environment it is difficult to answer. Possibly a HVOF carbide coating, which would depend very much on corrosive media and temperature. Failing that a fused or weld applied coating.
