Engineering Demographic Survey

My name is Katarina Morowsky. I am a senior Mechanical Engineer and Design, Innovation, and Society major at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. For my senior thesis I am trying to determine what type of individual chooses a career in engineering and proceeds to advance into management positions. While there has been a great deal of research regarding ideal candidates for promotions within the overall workforce I have not been able to find any information that shows such trends are also present in engineering.

To gain a better understanding of promotional trends in the various engineering fields I have created a survey and was hoping that you would be able to take approximately ten minutes to fill it out.

All responses to the survey will be kept confidential. The resulting trends from the survey will be identified and discussed within my thesis paper.
