Do you have an Engineering background but fancy a change of pace?!
Manager of Volunteers ~ Regulatory Authority
£30k + benefits

A varied role is offered by this London based charity responsible for setting and maintaining recognised standards of competence and ethics for a professional technical industry. This role involved recruiting, training, allocating their professional volunteers (approx 100 retired/semi-retired individuals) and working closely with the Licensing Manager and the Quality Assurance Department. They grant the licences to various institutions which allow them to assess their members’ qualifications and experience and then quality check the institutions processes to ensure they work within guidelines ~ this is completed by the panel of volunteers. Leadership and strong communication skills will play a part to build relationships with Institutions and Volunteers and good administrative ability to assess management systems for compliance and improvement.

An Engineering or Science degree is essential along with experience of working for a membership organisation/regulatory body. Experience of QA and managing volunteers and the voluntary sector would be perfect too. Competent IT skills. PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN ONLY RESPOND TO CANDIDATES WHO MEET THESE RECRUITING CRITERIA.
