Conversion problem
Hello
I'm currently trying convert some flow plasma gas from Metco FMR to NLPM. I look in web site calculator, but I have a small problem, one of flow to translate is Nitrogen and flow is avaible for Helium secondary plasma gas flow tube! Can I use the Nitrogen primary plasma gas flow correction calculator for this translation? Regards Olivier |

RE: Conversion problem
Hi Olivier
Yes as long as the helium flow tube is calibrated the same (nitrogen at 50 psi @ 70F). If you pass nitrogen at 50 psi and 70F the helium flow meter should give a direct read-out in SCFH for nitrogen. Use Nitrogen Primary Plasma Gas Flow Calculator if using different pressures or different flow units.
