Information Conversion of APS to VPS
Hi Gordon,
We have with us 9MB system and a Kuka robot KR16 a wild idea (Sign0184)occurred to me for the possibility of encapsulating the coating system like
Gun
Robot
Turntable
High Pressure hoses
inside a vacuum chamber.
Well theoritically if we have a good vacuum pump and the gas connections are rigid enough the system will be like a LPPS.
Kindly comment on it. If this is a possibility then we can definitely save a very very costly system from sulzer .
Regards
Girish

RE: Conversion of APS to VPS
Hi Girish

Possible, yes - but probably not as simple as it sounds. If you have the related expertise at hand, maybe worth looking further.
