RE: Can plasma be applied to coated substrates?
Hi Steph
Can plasma sprayed coatings be applied to coated substrates? Yes in some cases where coating has high integrity and will accept surface preparation like grit blasting without damage. Can CoCrAlY APS coating stick on top of Aluminum-Silicon coating? Not sure, I suspect so, but really it is something you will have try out and test for yourself. Hi hanker886 Though this post deserves a thread of its own, go to [split] Can plasma coat graphite on copper? Regards Gordon www.gordonengland.co.uk www.surfaceengineer.co.uk Photography Obsession |
