To Install TBC coatings on gas turbine liner and transition piece we use MCrAlY Coatings with APS and HVOF Systems.
Can I use HVAF to Install MCrAlY Coatings?

Yes, HVAF will apply MCrAly coatings. The coatings are very dense. Here is a picture of NiCrAlY applied in my workshop using HVAF.

The problem will be the OEM specifications, because you can only use the spray system and material that is specified.
