Arc wire Bond

I have come across a Nickel Chrome 80/20 wire. Just wondering if I can use it for bond coat in journal reclamation please advise if it's applicable .

of course not, you can reach a bond strenght of about 30 MPa, you mustu use Ni/Al 5%, so you could reach about 65 MPa or more, it depend of the surface preparation method
