Big Grin Air systems
We're in the process of researching and developing an air collection / filtration system for our thermal spray facility. We currently apply via flame spray, twin arc, powders, and even have one of the high arc single wire High velocity systems. Being a job shop, we need to be capable of doing small parts, up through parts that can be as much as 30 feet in length and 60 inches in diameter. One part, to hundreds of parts. We have looked into small "cells" that are about the size of a desk for small jobs, as well as water walls feeding into a collection system with cartridges. Mainly, we're looking to see what everyone else has that works. We're considering a wall of ducts that removes air from the entire spray room, a funnel type system that travels with the manipulator to remove that specific overspray, or a combination of the two.

Any ideas would be appreciated. What's everyone got? And what do you wish you had?

RE: Air systems
Thanks, but that does not cover the larger areas when doing large rolls and tubes etc.

Anyone else with suggestions? What is everyone using?
