Dear Loriolo,

I am very thankful of your useful infformation. One more thing as I am searching for other requirements also like chilled water flow at 26 litre/minute, Temperature of 9 degree centigrade & chiller capacity of 90 kw is okay? Please confirm.

Thanks

The chiller you say could be enough for the JP5000, this system needs about 20 l/minute of water, with a pressure of about 40 PSI, and a water temperature from 12 to 20 °C.
Best regards

Hi RV_DMG,

In order to cool the JP-5000 you definitely need an 90KW cooler! Personally I prefer to have a SKID (water pumping station with tank) and a few good booster pumps in order to have enough flow. However there are also chiller which have a all in one solutions but let's not go into much detail concerning the chiller itself

Concerning the water flow it depends a little bit, to give you an example we have a few systems running with 42Lpm measured at Jambox, but another system only has 32Lpm. The water inlet temperature is around 10-15 degrees and water outlet varies from 33 degrees up to 45 degrees depending on barrel used and system.

When you are in this range it should be sufficient to cool down the 5220 torch. If you want to do it perfect install a purification system to ensure stable water quality with low amount of minerals. This will reduce scaling on your barrels.

Dear Joris,

Thanks for your useful information!

Do you mean that in such a short time temperature will rise from 12 degree to 45 degree? Are you sure about this?

Thanks
