1966 Metco Spray gun Type 10E
I was just inherited a Metco Type 10E Spray gun. It has about 20 tips, stoody powder, Gaskets, 4 valve lubes, 16 gear lubes, 4 extensions, A 5P gun, 1 transparent bowl, Bolts, and quite a bit of accesaries. What would all this run for...
I was thinking about putting it on E-bay |

RE: 1966 Metco Spray gun Type 10E
Hi CoreyT
to the Surface Engineering Forum.Difficult really to put a price on that. Condition will be important. The new price for a new 14E gun would be knocking on £4000 ($8000) I guess. Getting the gun reconditioned/refurbished which may be needed could be anything from £500 - £1500, If more, consider it a paper weight . The equipment is old, Sulzer Metco don't support these models any more, but there are a few places that still sell generic parts.Certainly, publicising the sale on this forum should help. If you put it on ebay, post the link here. It may be worth waiting a while to see if the forum generates any interest. It may also help if you post some images. Note: Moving this thread to "Products and Services" forum. Regards Gordon www.gordonengland.co.uk www.surfaceengineer.co.uk Photography Obsession |

RE: 1966 Metco Spray gun Type 10E
As an art shop we are looking for a 14e or 14e-h (or equiv.)unit, wire straightener, and gauges for our shop. We have a eutectic teradyn powder set up and are looking for a cost effective way to spray wire.
