Hi,
Basic composition of Inconel is approx.80Ni/20Cr and in Inconel 625, 3.5%Nb is added to base composition. 89Ni/20/Cr is a bond coat material which can withstand a maximum temperature of 1260*C.This bondcoat is extensively used as bond coat for metal/metal/ceramic interfaces.(ref.R.Chattopadhyay,Surface Wear, Analysis, Treatment, and Prevention, ASM-International, 2001, p238 & p247).
