Hi Arturas
Usually torch fusing is done with oxyacetylene because of its higher temperature and better control during fusing. Propane is often used for preheating and getting the bulk of the heat into the larger parts before finally fusing using oxyacetylene.
Assuming proper fusing by either fuel gas I think the wear and microstructure would be similar. Possible difference could occur if using propane, where the fusing may take longer with less control causing quality problems (incomplete fusion, porosity, pinholes etc.)which would effect wear and microstructure.
Regards Gordon
