Still no real answer on the cost, though we've had a "maybe" from a couple vendors, and we are making some test samples. The primary issue now seems surface roughness- we would prefer smooth surface (porcelain would be ideal) but we also need a pretty thick coating (.2mm-.4mm, we think). We have not found an inexpensive way to combine these features (thick coating, smooth surface finish), possibly because one does not exist?
