Metals Handbook, desk edition covers fairly all the hardness values of metallic materials. For ceramic you have to go through a book on ceramic or for exotic materials andv composites ,refer ASMpublication on Engineered Materils Handbook. My first book covers properties including hardness of different materials, including metals, polymers, ceramics etc and also contains big list of references. Ram : I am struggling to find basic tables showing typical hardness values for base metals, such as Brass, steels (particularly rimming), ceramics. : : Thanks to anyone who can direct me to such tables.
