Dr. Chattopadhyay's books on 'Surface Wear- Analysis,Treatment & Prevention'(ASM-International,2001) & 'Advanced Thermally Assisted Surface Engineering' (Springer,2004)are described by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam,famous missile technologist and present President of India as "They ( two books)are indeed very useful contribution for Surface Engineering'. First book is in the best selling list of ASM -International.Second book with strong selling has been recently made as e-book.
