: So far thermal spray is concerned there are several articles on protection of splash zone(most difficult area to protect) against corrosion by thermal spraying of self fluxing nickel base alloys.In our lab tests under simulation condition the corrosion rate was substantially reduced by such coating.In my book on surface engineering I have given some of the references.
