Gordon, Thanks for the insight.I realize that the 71 vf is designed for plasma,but the problem i have is that i have certain AMS and BMS specs that i need to meet.Unfortunately Praxair does not have a powder that is certified for the jp 5000(an oversight by the management when they bought the equipment)that meets these specs. I have heard that some one is using this combination but can not find any info on it. I guess i will have to do some more research and find something that will work. Thanks again. Jim
