Dear Leo,
Don't try it, unless you have enough money to buy a new gun.
You will change the in and outlet from the water cooling.
Normally your Anode is cooled with cold water (inlet).So when you change this you can imagine what will happen. The anode is made of copper, and will melt immediately.
If you want to change polarity, you will need a transfer (welding equipment will do also)arc power supply. This will change the polarity of the subject you want to coat.
