Is there a optimum temperature range for the compressed air used for arc thermal spray?
We are using portable arc wire thermal spray equipment to coat with stainless steel surfaces under the open sky and we noticed a major increase in porosity of the layer during winter weather.
Is it necessary to actually warm up the flow of compressed air to be able to perform such a task when the ambient temperature is 30-40°F?
