: I think if you were to hardness test chicken bone, it would be relatively soft compared to say metals. But that is not to say it will not abrade or erode your pipes.

This is what I'm thinking about... but it's difficult to analyze this, and it would be interesting to find some sort of measure af the abrasion on say mild steel from bones...
