Dear Vasco,
We have requirement of Plasma Coating on Aluminium Roller , Alloy 6066 and Temper T6 having hardness exceeding 1200 VPN , surface finish to be Ra 0.8 . Significance of this is to ensure smooth movement of HDPE tapes over coating at a speed of 440 mtr / min. Since Plasma Coating is black in colour , and the Vicker hardness can be measured by indenting a pyramid shaped indicator , the rhombus indentation is unclear and so its difficult to calculate VPN .
Please guide us in detail since our development of new item depends a lot on this.
