Surface Coatings and treatments are an important area within the Aerospace and Power generation industries, as the condition of a component's surface and the mechanical performance in general can be significally enhanced by the appropriate application of a coating or treatment. There have been significant advances in the last few years, and this seminar will highlight the importance of cost effective and environmentally sound coatings and treatments, by looking at actual applications and the effect that these concerns must have on designs.
