Dear Gordon,
This is in furtherance to my post on the 1st of Junue 2006. At the outset I would like to thankyou for your reply. I would be thankful if you could help me out on a couple more things in relation to 13%Cr coating on Chilled cast iron calender Rolls.
The finished build up is in the range of 2mm (on thickness). Since the hardness of the roll is above 55Rc, how could we go about making grooves ? (tools etc. as the material is hard)
What abrasive do you recommend for cleaning and blasting ?
Thanks in advance.
Azim
