I would like to use a thermal spray aluminium coating for a special part. The problem I have is that this part presents a junction between steel and elastomer.
The steel has to be well coated and for that purpose the coating has to be put a little on the elastomer close to the junction.
The elastomer does not withstand high temperature. Hence Is anyone able to tell me if there will be a problem with such a coating application or not?
Has anyone an idea of the temperature of the aluminium when impacting the part to be coated?
