Hi, I've spent almost all day trying to find a figure of the hardness of glass. It's glass in i.e. bottles etc. that I'm searching for.
I'll corrolate this to the hardness of steelpipes, when we build pneumatic conveying systems that handles household waste. We transport waste in steelpipes with air and the glass is eroding our pipes. I need to explain for some collegues tomorrow that if we transport a material harder than the pipes, the wear is much higher.
Regards
Tord
