A polymer coating has been developed for the plastic bottle industry. Dip coating has been the main means of ensuring sufficient surface coverage. This process is cumbersome and lacks macro production potential within the PET bottling industry. An alternative to the methods mentioned above is to introduce a spray coating process which would be able to produce a layered coating with the same permeability. Any suggestions on application procedure would be a great help.
