: : : Is there some one tried to coat POM or PEEK,or similar material? What is the whold porcess of coating? Can plasma do that?
: : : Any idea or proposal will be appreciate!

: : Yes, it is possible depending on many factors.

: I thought about plasma coating POM or PEEK on substrate of aluminium alloy, for example. since the molding workpiece of PEEK will be expensive than aluminium alloy with PS coated thin PEEK,that can keep special feature of PEEK.
: I knew from brochure of Victrex for PEEK-Coat (TM) that the plasma sprayed coating of PEEK is workable, but I don't know the parameters resp.
: I need some advice, if possible, with appreciation.

First I would seek advise on parameters from the manufacturer or supplier of the powder. Otherwise, you will need to develope your own parameters. Generally, these materials require low thermal input and high velocity parameters. Start by using narrow bore nozzles, argon or nitrogen gas with no secondary gas and powder injectors that angle out away from the nozzle.
