Dear all,
I used the electrolytic method to remove a tungsten carbide coating (WC83-Co17), the substrate is a 42CD4 or a 30CD4, we have done in the first time a shot-peening on the substrate before the sand-blasting, then our coating was to slim, so we remove this one by the electrolytic process.
I'd like to know if we had change the characteristics of the substrate by this process, and if our new tungsten carbide coating will have the same characteristics than the old one.
Thank you for your answers.
Best regards,
N. Champin
