Would a coating of inconnel 625 via a HVOF application process be suitable on the waterwalls of a waste to energy boiler?
What levels of porosity can be expected and will this porosity lead to corrosion of the substrate? Also what effect will boiler expansion and contraction have on metal spray performance?
Finally what is the life expectancy of the above application in WtE boilers?
