Cr2O3 spraying on nickel plating layer

Hi,Gordon

We have a subject that asking for plasma coating 0.1 to 0.2 mm pure Cr2O3 on Nikel plating layer(thickness 40 to 50 um)of the substrate of AlSiCu - a kind of Aluminium cast alloy.
The function is for yarn pass through, cross-section hardness should goes up to HV1400150.
My question is that if we should follow normal processing: cleaning, grit blasting, Ni/Al spraying, Ceramic spraying; if not, what is your proposal? Is there any critical point we should pay attention?
