The Periodic Table arranges itself into a 3D square pyramid if the quantum numbers are slightly modified. Two quantum numbers are combined(n,l)as an Aufbau quantum number, also a new quantum number for "precession" is introduced(similar to spin).
This format of the Periodic Table may also be viewed as a series of square matrices. Please see www.members.shaw.ca/doulting/home.htm
