Hello all,

I am looking for a way to produce a wear resistant coating on polycarbonate (PC). This is a thermoplastic that is usually used at temperatures up to approx. 130C. (The same material is used to produce compact discs)
I have been thinking about spraying zinc. Is this possible? Will the plastic withstand the temperature of the spraying process? And will adhesion be higher than that of a glued sheet metal on the surface?

Thank you very much for your help

Ben
